IntraOsseous BioPlasty® (IOBP®) Procedure

A biologic solution for subchondral bone damage

IOBP Core Decompression & Delivery Kit

Support Joint Preservation at the Base

Encouraging physiologic bone remodeling and repair, the IOBP procedure achieves core decompression of lesions and delivers a mixture of highly concentrated platelets using the ACP Max system combined with autologous thrombin serum produced from autologous fluid (PRP, PPP) with the Thrombinator system.

The combination of the thrombin serum with the platelet-rich plasma at the site of delivery will cause the platelets to form a gel that serves as delivery system for the bioactive factors.

IOBP Knee Kit, Closed-Tip

The biologic material delivered to the subchondral bone contains the necessary components to aid bone repair.1

The IOBP technique is associated with clinically significant improvements in pain and function,2 and can be integrated with treatments for concomitant pathologies, supporting joint preservation in patients.

Scientific Support for the IOBP Procedure

The IOBP procedure has a low complication rate and allows patients an early return to function and activities of daily living.3,4 Additionally, this minimally invasive joint preservation technique can help delay more invasive procedures, such as total joint arthroplasty.5
